Clipping of the article "Tell Missionaries’ Last Jungle Days/ Wheaton Kin Reveal Radio Reports of 5" about the sudden lack of contact with the five missionaries. The article mentioned the Chicago-area connections of some of the missing missionaries and was largely based on reports from Gerald and Jane Hawthorne (Jim Elliot's sister) of Wheaton, Illinois. The clipping also includes an incomplete article about a reported sighting of two of the men alive by a U.S. Air Force helicopter, a report later proved to be erroneous.
